On the sidelines of Kayan Commercial Holding Group‘s participation in the Syria Advanced Technology Exhibition in Damascus, the Group’s pavilion received an official visit from His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Technology Abdulsalam Haikal. This visit reflects the growing governmental interest in the investment initiatives led by the Group in the technology and infrastructure sector.
During the visit, His Excellency the Minister reviewed Kayan Group’s key activities and strategic vision. The parties also discussed Kayan Group’s initiative to establish a fiber optic cable factory within Syria, aiming to enhance local self-sufficiency and reduce reliance on imports. The Minister expressed clear interest in the project and offered technical and regulatory guidance to accelerate implementation steps and ensure compliance with national standards.
