Kayan Commercial Holding Group took part in the Syria HiTech Exhibition in Damascus, drawing significant attention from visitors and professionals in the fields of technology and investment across Syria. During a media interview at the group’s pavilion, Chairman Walid Hindawi outlined the group’s vision and its growing role in supporting key economic sectors in the country.

A Diverse Investment Portfolio Across Nine Subsidiaries

Hindawi explained that Kayan Holding Group operates through nine companies specialized in strategic sectors, including:

  • Energy solutions
  • Telecommunications and internet technologies
  • Urban development
  • Reconstruction and infrastructure

He added that this participation follows a previous appearance at the Buildex exhibition, noting that the group’s presence at Syria HiTech this year was more extensive and better structured—reflecting the continuous growth of Kayan’s operations in Syria.

High Visitor Engagement, Including International Delegations

Regarding audience interaction, Hindawi emphasized that Kayan’s pavilion witnessed exceptional traffic, revealing that around 90% of the visitors were from outside Syria, representing both Arab and foreign countries. He described this as a positive indicator of Syria’s gradual economic recovery and renewed regional and international interest in investing in the country.

FTTH Projects and a Digital Infrastructure Covering Syrian Provinces

Hindawi announced that the group is currently preparing to launch major telecom infrastructure projects across several Syrian governorates, with a strong focus on expanding FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks to provide high-speed, high-quality internet directly to households through fiber-optic cables.

Urban Development Enhanced by AI and Smart Technologies

Alongside telecommunications, the group is actively developing several urban development projects in:

  • Aleppo City
  • Northern Aleppo
  • Damascus (three newly launched projects)

These projects feature residential units and villas integrated with artificial intelligence systems and smart digital services, designed to enhance residents’ daily lives and support digital transformation within the real estate sector.

A Forward-Looking Vision for Reconstruction and Sustainable Development

Hindawi concluded by affirming that Kayan Holding Group is committed to expanding its activities within Syria through innovative projects that contribute to the country’s reconstruction efforts and support the development of a resilient, technology-driven economy.
